While working with Netflix got invited to direct a 2024 New Year’s Eve commercial for Estrella Galicia, “El robo del año,” staged as a live heist during Cristina Pedroche’s Spanish TV countdown, where her crown jewelry vanished before millions.
The campaign wove in Berlin from Netflix’s Money Heist spin-off to unveil the heist’s orchestrator in a deft ad break twist, produced by Protokol, earning the Grand Prix at the Premios Eficacia 2024, a Gold for Best Integrated Campaign, a Silver for Most Original and Disruptive Strategy, and recognition at the YouTube Work Awards 2024.
